Kristin Knutson

Kristin Knutson, soprano: Praised for her “sparkling, fluid soprano with admirable flexibility” (Opera News), Kristin Knutson enjoys portraying characters from early music to contemporary musical theatre. Past engagements with Haymarket include Ariane in Ariane et Bachus and Ismaele in Agar et Ismaele esiliati. She has appeared with Indy Baroque Chamber Players, Alchemy Viols, Florentine Opera, Wisconsin Baroque Ensemble, Great Lakes Baroque, Skylight Theatre, Fireside Theatre, The New Group (Off-Broadway), and the New York Philharmonic. Kristin is a founding member of the New Milwaukee Consort, with whom she sings and plays Baroque guitar. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School.
